Year 9 Career Development
CDV001 Course Description
Career Development:This course is designed to give students the skills to select and research a career that matches their skills, interests and study interests. Students use the Career Services website to predict careers that may be of interest to them. They then research three careers. Students will be assessed on their research.
The last part of the course the students will investigate what makes a good employee and what they can do to make themselves more employable.
Course Overview
Term 1
The course lasts for 1 Term. Students have 2 periods per week. They are expected to complete a workbook and produce a research project by the end of the term.
