MAS3 Course Description Recommended Prior LearningStudents must have achieved AS91267 (2.12) - Probability and at least 5 other credits in level two Statistics to be considered for this course. In the event that the course is oversubscribed students will be ranked based on their results.
This NCEA level three (curriculum level 8) Statistics course covers probability concepts and distributions, time series and bivariate data analysis and report evaluation. It provides students with the knowledge to pursue Statistics at the university level.
