Year 9 Woodwork

This course develops skills in woodworking through the creation of several  wood projects, at least one of which is a take-home item. 

The following skills are explored:

• Safety outline workshop protocol
• Timber use, measurement.
• Jointing methods you may need to use could involve dowelling, widening, or biscuit joining. 
• Machine tools – Bandsaw, router, drill press, biscuit jointer, sander.
