Rugby Academy (RAC) is a practical course for those who aspire to play rugby at a high level, are wanting to improve their skill level and game understanding, and also gain an insight into the demands of a high performance environment. The Semester B course includes the following components:

IRB Laws of the Game
Introduction to Pre Competition Officiating
Introduction to Rugby Sevens
Year 12 (NCEA Level 2), Physical & Health Education - Akoranga Koiri
All internally assessed Level 1 and 2, Unit and Achievement Standards.
NCEA L3 Physical Education A, NCEA L3 Sport Studies A
This course leads perfectly into NCEA L3 - Rugby Academy A and other Physical Education level 3 subjects
