Course Description

Rugby Academy (RAC) is a practical course for those who aspire to play rugby at a high level, are wanting to improve their skill level and game understanding, and also gain an insight into the demands of a high performance environment. The Semester B course includes the following components:

Rugby Skill Development

Physical Fitness Training 

IRB Laws of the Game

Introduction to Pre Competition Officiating

Introduction to Rugby Sevens

 


Recommended Prior Learning

This course does not require any prior learning but an application process is in place to check your eligibility of gaining entry.

Pathway

This course leads perfectly into NCEA L3 - Rugby Academy A and other Physical Education level 3 subjects
