Course Description
Recommended Prior Learning
Students need to have NCEA Level one Numeracy and have Achieved AS91037 (1.12) - Understanding Chance and Data and either AS91035 (1.10) - Multivariate Data or AS91036 (1.11) - Bivariate Data. Places may be limited in which case results will be ranked and places allocated on that basis.
Due to the amount of report writing required a high level of Literacy and reading comprehension will be required.
This NCEA level two (curriculum level 7) Statistics course covers probability theory, networks, questionnaire and experiment design and delivery and report evaluation. It provides the necessary foundation for those wishing to take Statistics at NCEA level three.
