Course Description

This course is suited to students who are passionate about sport. Whether it be participating in sport, sports administration and organisation, building confidence through a sport based leadership program or just having a subject that is a bit more hands on, this could be the course for you.
We complete a mixture of Achievement and Unit Standards at Level 2 with a focus around skills needed both in the sports industry and in life.

All standards are assessed internally through a mixture of, observation, written/oral reflections. (All online)Pathway
This semester A course leads perfectly into SPS2B, the Sport Studies 200 semester B course. Also students may look at taking up PED2B, our Physical Education Level 2 semester B course and or OED2B, the Outdoor Education 200 semester B course.
Level 3 pathway options include, Sport Studies 300 (SPS3A), Physical Education 300 (PED3A) and Outdoor Education 300 (OED3A).
