Course Description

Recommended Prior Learning

It is recommended, but not necessity, that students taking this semester B course have some experience in a Physical Education based subject. 


This course is suited to students who are passionate about learning the skills required in the fitness industry or for students who prefer a more hands on approach to learning. In this Semester B course we are 100% focused on giving students the tools required in group training, personal training, and planning effective gym programs. 

We complete several Unit Standards at Level 3 with a focus around skills required in the fitness industry

All of these units are completed at the Stadium 2000 gym complex

-Running and reviewing group fitness sessions

-Planning and reviewing personal gym programs. 

-The science behind the body and how it works
