This course is an introduction to senior Physical Education and is a mix of practical (70%) and theory (30%) work.
We complete 5 Achievement Standards which focus on a range of topics
-Effort and participation in a variety of sports
-Sport Science
-Interpersonal (teamwork) skills
-Coaching strategies
-Physical skills assessment
We have tried to make this course as practical as possible while also having a major focus on academic achievement. Based on student numbers and results, this is one of the most successful and enjoyed courses in the school.
