Recommended Prior LearningNo pre-requisites but some previous Art experience is beneficial. The most important thing is a good attitude towards trying your best. We can teach anyone the art skills if they are willing to learn.
This is an Art course focuses on developing art skills and enjoying the artmaking process. Students explore the basic elements of line, tone, texture, shape, and colour. These are applied to practical assignments through various media using drawing, printmaking, photography and painting. Design and sculptural opportunities are also offered.
Year 10 Art is an excellent entry into Level 1 Art, Design and Graphics.
Semester A
This is a 2 term Art course with 2 classes per week for 20 weeks.
