Agriculture and Horticulture Level 3 investigates environmental issues in farming with a new focus each year. It also looks at managing livestock and livestock health and health problems.
Course Overview
Semester B
Students will investigate a contemporary environmental issue in farming. Each year the topic changes and the students will cover an environmental issue that is relevant to many primary industries.
Students will also cover a Unit Standard that looks at managing livestock and livestock health and health problems.
Recommended Prior Learning
No prior learning is required but an interest in Primary Industries would be beneficial.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Students will need a 1B5 book.
